The Gallery Restaurant opens in Sway
Following an extensive makeover Robert Towle and Trevor Dymond are pleased to launch The Gallery Restaurant and Bar at Sway Manor.ﾠ A Launch Party for local dignitaries and long term friends was held on 11th January with over 150 people able to attend including the artist commissioned to paint the large canvasses for the Gallery walls, Anita Nowinska.ﾠ The evening was set off by the lovely harp playing of Christina Clayton from Sway.
Seen here are Lymington Town Mayor Anna Rostand, artist Anita Nowinska, Councillor Barry Rickman, Carol Gates Chairman Sway Parish Council, Robert Towle.ﾠ Also attending were Alan Wade NFDC, Alison Barnes NPA, Ann Harmin Lymington Chamber, Hillary Marshall NFCentre, Sammy Miller, George Farwell and various members of the local press.ﾠ Plus many local business people from Sway 'high street'.
" We decided it was time to upgrade our offering to match local demand" says Robert. "So with the help of Andrew Foster, Restaurant Manager, Chris McIntyre and the rest of our hard working staff we ripped into the work and completed it inside of 2 months.ﾠ We also used local suppliers wherever possible.ﾠ The result is modern cuisine in a lovely modern environment and the ambience is perfect for family and group celebrations and romantic get togethers of all kinds. We have also opened up the Bar so local people can just come for a drink, with a happy hour on weekdays before 7pm. "
Menus are 'traditional contemporary' and the new restaurant also boasts an extensive vegetarian menu, one of the largest in the New Forest, and will all appear on this site shortly.
