Classically English Hotel
Had a lovely stay here. Beautiful old Manor hotel, beautifully furnished bedroom with pristine en-suite. Evening meal excellent- with more food on our plates than we could eat- very unusual these days! Lovely breakfast too and very good service.

Lovely hotel and exceptional value
I'll be returning to the Sway Manor - convenient location for the New Forest and ferry to the Isle of Wight, the room was charming, the bed comfortable, the free internet access a bonus (computer provided - I didn't even need to unpack my laptop), friendly but unintrusive staff and lovely grounds for a stroll before breakfast.

The staff attitude was second to none, the food was out of this world and the location very peaceful and tranquil.

 Because of :

• its location
• its size ............. we think small is beautiful and generally one feels more 'a guest' than a 'number' in a small hotel.
• provision of Wi-Fi
• write up about the food quality and
• the provision of treatments

So how did Sway Manor measure up to our expectations ?

1. Reception .............. welcomed and helped by Zena who was most efficient and friendly. Also met Majorie who was also friendly and helpful.
2. Restaurant ............. served by both James and Chris who both had a relaxed but cheerful disposition and made us feel very at ease. They are both to be applauded for their very positive and helpful attitude.
3. Food ...................... well cooked and presented. Main Course plates were hot ( a thought lost on many establishments today) and portions were plentiful. Only a small suggestion ....... if one takes a time to enjoy the well cooked main course, the vegetables do tend to go a little cold and a small hotplate (even one lit by candles) would be a welcome addition to keep them warm. Additionally, the Sally who served us breakfast was first class every day.
4. Bedrooms ............. we can of course only comment upon bedroom 2 in which we stayed ........... the room was spacious and airy, bed comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. 
5. Bathroom ............... was clean and presentable.  Towels were of good quality and refreshed whenever we requested them to be changed.
6. Cleaning ................ bedroom and bathroom were kept clean and tidy by very efficient chambermaids.
7. Treatments ........... Zena was no less than excellent. The treatments we had were all extremely good and there was no 'clock-watching'  as we have experienced in many other places we have stayed. The 'No Hands' Massage was deep and indeed a rare treat ........... one that we will be seeking to repeat for certain.
8. Wi-Fi .................... very useful to have this available and enabled me to keep in touch with business whilst away .... a greatly appreciated feature.
