Sway Manor is a classic New Forest Hotel - the vision of Robert Towle, formerly of Towles Restaurant, and his business partner Trevor Dymond.

The partners have created their ideal manor hotel, a balance of modern room design and excellent food whilst retaining the classic charm of an Edwardian country home, in their beloved New Forest.

Following the sale of Towles Restaurant, Robert and Trevor purchased a country house hotel near Lymington in late 2002 and spent three years carefully renovating and adding a modern styling, using the skills and imagination of local craftspeople. A large glass conservatory, inspired by the partner’s love of the beautiful gardens, creates a splendid environment for ‘social’ dining.

In the kitchen, local produce is always the preferred choice. Home-grown herbs from the Hotel’s edwardian cottage garden feature in the menu and fresh Sway Manor flowers adorn the tables.

The flower gardens are tended regularly and are renowned locally.  Once a year they are opened to the public to raise funds for local charities.

Predictably, the food is superb but it’s Robert and Trevor’s events that really set Sway Manor Hotel apart from the rest. 2009 events include painting days in the edwardian gardens, a birdwatchers tour of the Hampshire coast with lunch and seminar, a brilliant Victorian brass band, murder mysteries, Irish folk and French café jazz, a pedigree and fun class dog show, live band ballroom dancing, comedy nights and steel drum BBQ.
